I can't change or delete a record

Why finished, approved and signed records are locked, and the void, withdraw, cancel, correct or reopen route each module offers instead.

Included in: Every planUpdated

Short answer: Solmex almost never deletes, and it stops editing a record once other people have relied on it: once it is closed, approved, signed, completed or posted. Instead, each module has a named way to put a mistake right (correct, void, withdraw, cancel, reopen or duplicate) that keeps the original and records who changed it and why.

A closed work order: its record is kept as it was, with no edit controls
