What Solmex is
Solmex is maintenance and asset management software. It keeps one record for every machine and runs the work done on it, from the first report of a problem to the signed-off job.
Solmex keeps a single, complete record for every machine, vehicle and piece of equipment you are responsible for, and runs the maintenance work done on it. It is used by teams that keep machines, buildings and plants running: plant and workshop managers, maintenance planners, technicians, storemen and the people in the field who report problems.
You use it in a web browser, on a computer or a phone, at your company's own address (for example yourcompany.getsolmex.com). A Solmex mobile app is coming soon; until it is in the App Store and Google Play, everything works in your phone's browser.
What you can do with it

The ideas Solmex is built on
One record per machine. Every module (work orders, fuel, parts, costs) points at the same equipment record. You never type a machine's details twice, and its full history is always in one place.
A missing figure stays missing. If something has not been recorded, Solmex says "Not stated" rather than guessing a value. A blank meter reading is never treated as zero.
Records are corrected, not erased. Equipment, users and roles are never deleted. A mistake is corrected, withdrawn or cancelled, and the record keeps who changed what and why.
Your data is yours. You can export everything at any time from Settings > Data Export.
