Getting Started
Set up your company, add your sites and assets, invite your team, and run your first job.
- Sign in to SolmexHow to sign in with your email or username, set your password from an invitation, and reset a forgotten password.
- Set up your companyAdd your company name, address and logo, set the base currency and upload limits, and find your way around Settings.
- Add Locations and SublocationsCreate the places where work happens (Locations) and the areas inside them (Sublocations), so every machine can be placed where it actually is.
- Add equipmentRegister a machine on the Equipment Register with its identity, ownership, location, status and meters. Every other part of Solmex refers to this record.
- Import equipment from ExcelRegister many machines at once from an Excel file. Solmex checks every row first and imports nothing until the whole file is valid.
- Invite your teamAdd users, send them an invitation to set their own password, choose a role and a seat, and disable an account when someone leaves.
- Roles and permissionsEach user has one role, and a role is a set of permissions such as "Work Orders: Edit". Use the roles you start with, adjust them, or create your own.
- Your first job: from request to closed work orderFollow one problem through Solmex. Someone reports it, maintenance turns it into a work order, a technician records the work, it is signed off and closed.
